Get ready for something a little different… the Richmond Rewind is all about good vibes, great company, and a feel-good run you won’t forget.
This fun, chip-timed 5-mile road run takes you on a journey not just through Richmond’s stunning backdrop, but through the decades too. Expect a soundtrack packed with throwback energy, from disco 70s, retro 80s, boombox beats, 90s anthems and the 00s, keeping you moving and smiling every step of the way. There will be a curated decades-themed playlist available for those who wish to download it and use on the day. Please note this is for use with bone conducting headphones only, and there will be no music on the course itself. And yes, there’s a well-earned medal & retro sweets waiting for you at the finish.
Starting and finishing at Richmondshire Rugby Club, the atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and full of life, with a live DJ at base bringing the party vibes all day long. The route itself has a bit of everything, some ups and downs to keep things interesting but trust us, the views are absolutely worth it. You’ll take in some of the very best landmarks Richmond has to offer, showcasing just how stunning this area really is.
Once you cross the finish line, the good times don’t stop. The clubhouse will be open with retro dogs available to buy (BBQ outside if the weather is kind), perfect for refuelling after your run. The bar opens from 12, so whether you’re running, supporting, or just soaking up the atmosphere, you can settle in and enjoy the afternoon. There’s something for everyone, please bring your family down and make a day of it.
This is more than just a run — it’s a celebration. A chance to move, smile, and experience Richmond in a whole new way. Tickets £25 each £23 to UKA & Rugby Club members.
Please note subject to weather conditions parking will be available at the Rugby Club £2 per car (we will notify you in advance if there is any change).
