BRINGING YOU ALL THE VIBES

EXPERIENCE THE REWIND

Get ready for something a little different… the Richmond Rewind is all about good vibes, great company, and a feel-good run you won’t forget.

This fun, chip-timed 5-mile road run takes you on a journey not just through Richmond’s stunning backdrop, but through the decades too. Expect a soundtrack packed with throwback energy, from disco 70s, retro 80s, boombox beats, 90s anthems and the 00s, keeping you moving and smiling every step of the way. There will be a curated decades-themed playlist available for those who wish to download it and use on the day. Please note this is for use with bone conducting headphones only, and there will be no music on the course itself. And yes, there’s a well-earned medal  & retro sweets waiting for you at the finish.

Starting and finishing at Richmondshire Rugby Club, the atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and full of life, with a live DJ at base bringing the party vibes all day long. The route itself has a bit of everything, some ups and downs to keep things interesting but trust us, the views are absolutely worth it. You’ll take in some of the very best landmarks Richmond has to offer, showcasing just how stunning this area really is.

Once you cross the finish line, the good times don’t stop. The clubhouse will be open with retro dogs available to buy (BBQ outside if the weather is kind), perfect for refuelling after your run. The bar opens from 12, so whether you’re running, supporting, or just soaking up the atmosphere, you can settle in and enjoy the afternoon. There’s something for everyone, please bring your family down and make a day of it.

This is more than just a run — it’s a celebration. A chance to move, smile, and experience Richmond in a whole new way. Tickets £25 each £23 to UKA & Rugby Club members.

Please note subject to weather conditions parking will be available at the Rugby Club £2 per car (we will notify you in advance if there is any change).

3. Acceptance of Terms

By entering this race event, the entrant agrees to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all participants, including those entered on behalf of others.

4. Event Rules and Regulations

This event will be held under UK Athletics (UKA) rules. A race licence has been applied for. The entrant agrees to abide by these rules and acknowledges that the decisions of event officials and marshals are final.
This is a road race taking place on open roads. Roads will not be closed to traffic, and all participants must comply with the Highway Code and exercise extreme caution at all times. Runners must be prepared to encounter vehicles, cyclists, and members of the public using the same route.

5. Medical and Fitness Declaration

6. Entry Fee and Transfer Policy

No Refunds or deferrals: Due to the increasing costs associated with event management, all entry fees are non-refundable once the participant has entered the event.

Transfer of Entry:
Entrants may request to transfer their place to another runner up to 14 days before the event. All transfer requests must be made through our official booking system—unofficial transfers are not permitted under any circumstances.

The final deadline for transfer requests is 25 April 2027, to allow sufficient time for participant data to be updated and processed. No transfers will be accepted after this date.

7. Event Cancellation and Rescheduling

In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to severe weather, flooding, or other safety concerns), the organisers cannot guarantee a refund. However, we will make every effort to reschedule the event. Please note that rescheduled events may not suit all participants, and refunds in these cases will not be offered.

8. Liability and Indemnity

The entrant acknowledges and agrees that they participate in this event entirely at their own risk. The entrant understands that marshals are present to indicate direction and provide guidance only, and that it remains the responsibility of each participant to make safe decisions throughout the course.

The entrant acknowledges that this is an open-road running event and accepts the inherent risks associated with running in live traffic conditions and in shared public spaces, including interactions with vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.

No liability whatsoever shall be attached to the event organisers, promoting club, sponsors, landowners, or any associated parties for any loss, damage, injury, or illness incurred as a result of participation in the event, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Anti-Doping Rules

All entrants are deemed to have familiarised themselves with, and agreed to be bound by, the UKA Anti-Doping Rules. The entrant agrees to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of these rules. These rules apply to all entrants participating in the sport of athletics for 12 months from the date of entry, regardless of citizenship or residency.

10. Event Code of Conduct

Participants agree to adhere to the following code of conduct during the event:

  • Obey the Highway Code at all times
  • Do not obstruct roads, pavements, driveways, or access points
  • Be courteous when passing members of the public and other runners
  • Follow marshal instructions and event signage
  • Carry all mandatory race kit as specified by the event organisers
  • Be respectful and polite to marshals, first aiders, and event staff, who are volunteering to support your participation
  • Use verbal warnings such as “on your left” when overtaking where appropriate and safe to do so

11. Course Marking and Responsibility

While the course will be clearly marked and marshalled at key points, participants acknowledge that this is a live road environment and markings or signage may be affected by external factors.

It is the responsibility of each runner to familiarise themselves with the route in advance, follow event signage, and remain alert throughout the race.

12. Photography and Media

The entrant consents to the publication of their name and the use of photographs and video taken during the event for promotional purposes by the event organisers.

13. Compliance with Laws

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
