The PB Awards are a series of awards, nine levels of progression per age group, which celebrate athletes reaching new ‘personal bests. There are different award tables for every athletics event including combined events. They cover for each age group, for both male and female athletes aimed at the whole athletics community.
The England Athletics Pathfinder
The Pathfinder has been developed as a guide to help runners mark significant milestones in their personal journey—whether it’s completing a 5k, a 10k fun run, or tackling a marathon.
Why Pathfinder?
A Pathfinder is someone who explores new challenges and inspires others by showing them a pathway forward. We believe that by striving for personal progress and setting new goals, you not only grow and push your own boundaries but also motivate others to do the same.
How to Use the Pathfinder
The Pathfinder is designed as a progression tool, allowing you to track your achievements and see how far you've come. It’s not a formal award system but a guide to celebrate your personal milestones and inspire the next steps in your running journey.
Linking with England Athletics PB Awards
For those looking to move towards more formal athletics competition, the Pathfinder aligns with the England Athletics PB Awards, providing a natural connection as you work towards officially recognised achievements.
Start marking your milestones, and see where the path leads!
